Enjoy an authentic Lebanese "Baladi" breakfast featuring fresh local specialties and traditional flavors & Wander through the village streets and traditional souks, where local heritage, architecture, and daily life come together in a unique cultural atmosphere.

Visit the ancient Church of Prophet Daniel, a sacred landmark dating back more than a thousand years. Continue to the region's historic water mills, once vital to village life. Explore the ancient stone sarcophagi and discover the fascinating story of the Assi (Orontes) Cave, which sheltered local residents during times of conflict and where naturally preserved mummies were discovered. Conclude the visit by tasting fresh spring water from the village's historic fountain.

Take part in a cultural workshop and meet a local artist to learn about the traditions of iconography and the Syriac heritage that continue to shape the region's identity.

I love how every detail was thoughtfully created for us to fully enjoy this experience!

From the beautiful and comfortable bus ride, to the delicious breakfast and lunch, everything was exceptional.

The hike itself was so much more than a hike—it was a journey through nature, culture, history, heritage, connection, and some of the best laughs with Boulos along the way!

Charbel’s knowledge was truly impressive. He answered all our questions and shared fascinating insights, not only about the history of the region but also about the art of iconography (الأيقونة), which was absolutely mind-blowing.

And ending the day with some authentic mouneh baladiyeh was the perfect cherry on top!

This experience enriched our minds, bodies, and souls. Feeling so grateful, and I can’t wait to join future tours to really VIEW LEBANON the way it was meant to 🤍

A Journey Through the Heart of Lebanon

I had an amazing experience with View Lebanon on the Hadath El Jebbeh hike. From the moment we started, everything was organized with care and passion. The transportation was excellent, the bus picked us up from our different regions, it was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the driver was professional and drove safely throughout the journey, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the experience.
We enjoyed a delicious traditional breakfast before exploring the beautiful landscapes and ancient mills. Our guide brought history to life by explaining how these mills worked more than a thousand years ago. His knowledge, passion, and storytelling made every stop meaningful and fascinating.
The hike through the Cedars of Hadath El Jebbeh was truly magical. Walking among the majestic trees, sharing coffee in the peaceful forest, and connecting with nature created a feeling of calm, gratitude, and inner peace. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped create a wonderful atmosphere throughout the day.
One of the highlights was experiencing the authentic local culture of the village. We had the opportunity to buy freshly made kaak, traditional homemade juices, and fruits picked from local trees. It was a beautiful way to support the local community and enjoy the simple, genuine flavors of the region.
This was more than just a hike—it was a beautiful journey through the nature, history, and spirit of Lebanon. A day filled with friendship, discovery, peace, and unforgettable memories. View Lebanon is doing something special by helping people reconnect with the beauty of their country and with one another.
