Who is Charbel M.
"I am Charbel Antonios Mourad, a young man from Hadath El Jebbe, a town perched high atop the mountains of Jebbet Bsharri.
With a background in philosophy, theology, and psychology, my studies deepened my love for nature and ignited a passion for uncovering the wonders of the world around me. To me, nature is a masterpiece painted by God, revealing His image in the intricate details that leave us awestruck when we pause to truly observe them.
My village, Hadath El Jebbe, is a place steeped in history and brimming with cultural, architectural, religious, and natural treasures. It has played a significant role throughout the ages, home to landmarks such as the Church of the Prophet Daniel, the Cave Al Assi and the ancient mills, the majestic Cedars of Hadath, Mount Saint Simon, its historic town markets, and most importantly its people of chivalry, courage, and deep-rooted values. Words alone cannot capture the emotions hidden within the experience of visiting Hadath El Jebbe.
For me, home is a refuge —a place of comfort and belonging at the end of every day. And so, my village remains my ultimate refuge, the heart of every story and every conversation."
